You live in Sengkang or Punggol and you’re scrolling through personal trainer websites, most of which seem to talk about Bishan or the city centre and nothing closer to you. Here’s the direct answer. We now train clients in both Sengkang and Punggol, alongside our existing coverage in Bishan, Serangoon, Hougang, Bedok, Buangkok, Downtown East and Woodlands. Sessions run at nearby ActiveSG and Ark Grit facilities, and inside your own condo gym if you’ve got one.
We’re not a gym chain that just added two more branches. We’re a personal training team that works out of whatever facility is genuinely closest to you, so growing into new estates means finding the right venues first, not slapping a new location on a website.
Do you actually have a personal trainer in Sengkang?
Yes. Sengkang already has solid public fitness infrastructure to work from. Sengkang ActiveSG Gym, based at Sengkang Sport Centre on Anchorvale Road, went through a refresh completed in June 2025, according to Sport Singapore’s own announcement at the time. That gave the centre new fitness spaces alongside its existing gym.
Our trainers use facilities like this one for regular sessions, plus condo gyms for clients who’d rather train at home. If you’re in Sengkang and your condo has even a basic gym, a trainer can come to you directly instead.
A short, self-contained answer: yes, Sengkang has a working ActiveSG gym at Sengkang Sport Centre, refreshed in 2025, and our trainers can meet you there or at your own condo. You don’t need to travel into central Singapore for a session.
What about a personal trainer in Punggol?
Yes, we cover Punggol too, though the picture there is a bit different. Punggol’s own major sports hub, the Punggol Regional Sports Centre, was originally due to finish in 2023. According to the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth’s own parliamentary reply, construction delays pushed that back to 2026, three years later than first planned.
Until that centre is fully up and running, Punggol residents have been using smaller facilities under the government’s Dual-Use Scheme, including school sports halls. We don’t rely on those for our sessions. Instead, our trainers reach Punggol clients through condo gyms and nearby ActiveSG or Ark Grit facilities in the surrounding area.
That’s real progress for the estate. It’s just not finished yet, so a session in Punggol depends a bit more on the specific venue than it does in areas that already have an established sports centre
Where training actually happens

| Punggol | Condo gyms and nearby ActiveSG/Ark Grit facilities, while the Punggol Regional Sports Centre finishes construction in 2026 |
| Either area | Your own condo gym, at no extra cost |
How does personal training near me actually work in the North-East?
The format doesn’t change just because you’re further from the city. You start with a trial session, either solo or with a partner, so you can test the trainer and the venue before committing to anything. From there, regular sessions move to whichever facility works best for your schedule.
ActiveSG facilities themselves are run by Sport Singapore, the statutory board that’s managed public sport infrastructure across the island since 1973. That’s part of why coverage keeps expanding into newer estates like Sengkang and Punggol as the population there grows.
If you want to see exactly how sessions are priced and structured before you commit, our full pricing and package options cover solo and pair training in detail.
What if my condo doesn’t have a proper gym?
Plenty of condos in newer estates come with at least a small gym, even if it’s just a few machines and some weights. If yours does, that’s often enough for a full session.
If your condo genuinely has nothing to work with, the fallback is training at the nearest ActiveSG or Ark Grit facility instead. That’s the honest trade-off with newer estates. Public sports infrastructure sometimes takes longer to catch up than the housing does.
Before you book a session
The obvious worry with a newer service area is whether it’s been properly thought through, or whether it’s just a location added to a website without the actual coverage behind it. Sengkang already has a working ActiveSG gym our trainers use, and Punggol training runs through condo gyms and nearby facilities while its own centre finishes construction. Neither is a placeholder.
If you’re ready to see it for yourself, book your two trial sessions and judge the venue and the trainer directly, rather than taking our word for it.
Frequently asked questions
Is there really a personal trainer in Sengkang, or is this mostly a central Singapore service?
Yes. There’s a working ActiveSG gym in Sengkang itself, refreshed in June 2025, and our trainers use it for regular sessions. It’s not a case of stretching a central Singapore service onto a webpage.
Does Punggol have its own finished sports facility yet?
Not quite. The Punggol Regional Sports Centre is still completing construction, expected in 2026. Until then, sessions in Punggol run through condo gyms and nearby ActiveSG or Ark Grit facilities rather than one fixed building.
Does training in Sengkang or Punggol cost more than other areas?
No. Trial and package pricing stays the same everywhere we train, including Sengkang and Punggol. There’s no extra charge added just because an area is further from the city centre.
What if my condo in Punggol doesn’t have its own gym?
Then your trainer works from the nearest ActiveSG or Ark Grit facility instead. It’s a normal fallback, not a special arrangement, and it doesn’t change your session pricing or structure.
